For us, great coffee is most enjoyable and impressive when its flavors are achieved without the use of flavoring agents. The cup should reflect the variety, terroir, and care taken in processing and roasting.
We are engaged with a laboratory to periodically test our coffees for artificial flavoring agents and undisclosed additives. We will never sell a coffee where we have confirmed their presence.
Some coffees are intentionally processed with natural fruits or co-fermented with other ingredients. Done transparently, these can be delicious and bring forward creative expressions of the coffee. Whenever a coffee is processed this way, we will always say so clearly on its product page.
